January 4, 2023: Flossmoor, IL 60422 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) and the host Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), saw St. Laurence's basketball squad hold off Homewood-Flossmoor by a tally of 64-61.
With the victory, St. Laurence improves its record to 13-5 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Loyola Academy (Wilmette, IL) to confront the Ramblers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Ramblers come into the challenge with a record of 14-5. Loyola Academy won 47-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 6. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Boilermakers come into the challenge with a 8-6 record after their 63-41 non-league win over Richards (Chicago, IL).
