December 9, 2022: New Lenox, IL 60451 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL), saw Lincoln-Way West's basketball squad hold off Homewood-Flossmoor by a tally of 69-67.
With the victory, Lincoln-Way West improves its record to 4-4 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 13. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-6. Sandburg lost 49-20 in their recent non-league challenge against Stagg (Palos Hills, IL)
Next up, the Vikings confront the Hyde Park Thunderbirds (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 10. Homewood-Flossmoor will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a 6-1 record after their 57-50 league win over Brooks (Chicago, IL).
