The South Lakes Seahawks basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Independence to 35 in the Seahawks non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Seahawks now sport a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodgrove for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. South Lakes will battle a Wolverines team coming off a 69-26 non-league win over James Wood (Winchester, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-5.
