January 5, 2023: Purcellville, VA 20132 In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting South Lakes Seahawks basketball team scored a decisive 77-55 triumph over the Woodgrove Wolverines.
In their next game, the Seahawks meet the Oakton Cougars (Vienna, VA) in a District 1 match, on Tuesday, January 10. South Lakes will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 1-7 record after their 58-56 non-league loss to Christ Chapel Academy (Woodbridge, VA).
With the defeat, Woodgrove moves to 3-6 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA) to meet the Huskies in a non-league match on Wednesday, January 11. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 6-2.
