New York High School Basketball - Kingston holds off Shenendehowa
January 4, 2023: Kingston, NY 12401 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Kingston Tigers (Kingston, NY) and the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), saw Kingston's basketball squad hold off Shenendehowa by a tally of 50-46.
With the victory, Kingston improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Tigers host Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY) to confront the Crusaders in a Section 9 Orange County I challenge on Friday, January 6. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Monroe-Woodbury won 52-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Wallkill (Wallkill, NY)
Next up, the Plainsmen confront the Averill Park Warriors (Averill Park, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray challenge, on Friday, January 6. Shenendehowa will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 52-35 non-league win over South Glens Falls (South Glens Falls, NY).
