New York High School Basketball - Middletown holds off Shenendehowa
December 19, 2022: Middletown, NY 10940 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) and the visiting Shenendehowa Plainsmen (Clifton Park, NY), saw Middletown's basketball squad hold off Shenendehowa by a tally of 68-61.
With the victory, Middletown improves its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Middie Bears travel to Pine Bush (Pine Bush, NY) to confront the Bushmen in a Section 9 Orange County I challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Bushmen come into the challenge with a record of 0-3. Pine Bush lost 71-47 in their recent league challenge against Monroe-Woodbury (Central Valley, NY)
Next up, the Plainsmen confront the Schenectady Patriots (Schenectady, NY) in a Section 2 Suburban - Gray challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Shenendehowa will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 54-48 non-league loss to Gloversville (Gloversville, NY).
