Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the St. David Tigers (St. David, AZ) and the visiting Valley Union Blue Devils (Elfrida, AZ), saw St. David's basketball squad wallop Valley Union by a tally of 80-23.

With the victory, St. David improves its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Patagonia (Patagonia, AZ) to confront the Lobos in a 1A Tucson Southeast challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 4-11. Patagonia lost 42-25 in their recent non-league challenge against San Miguel (Tucson, AZ)
