New Mexico High School Basketball - Valencia knocked off by Valley
January 4, 2023: Los Lunas, NM 87031 The Valley Vikings basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Valencia Jaguars to 40 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Vikings now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cleveland for a non-league contest on Monday, January 9. Valley will meet a Storm team coming off a 80-41 non-league win over Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM). The Storm record now stands at 4-0.
The Jaguars (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, St. Pius X was outscored by Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 46-39, in a non-league contest.
