The Northwest Christian School Crusaders basketball team scored 41 points and held the visiting Chewelah Cougars to 15 in the Crusaders league triumph on Wednesday.
The Crusaders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna for a 2B Bi-County contest on Friday, January 6. Northwest Christian School will battle a Broncos team coming off a 82-49 non-league loss to Warden (Warden, WA). The Broncos record now stands at 3-4.
The Cougars (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna (Ritzville, WA). The Broncos enter the 2B Bi-County contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Lind-Ritzville/Sprague/Washtucna was routed by Northwest Christian School (Colbert, WA), 52-31, in a league contest.
