Illinois High School Basketball - Glenbard West overwhelms Wheaton-Warrenville South
January 4, 2023: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) and the visiting Wheaton-Warrenville South Tigers (Wheaton, IL), saw Glenbard West's basketball squad wallop Wheaton-Warrenville South by a count of 50-27.
With the victory, Glenbard West upgrades its record to 10-6 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to York (Elmhurst, IL) to play the Dukes in a West Suburban - Silver challenge on Friday, January 6. The Dukes come into the challenge with a record of 12-4. York won 53-25 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)
Next up, the Tigers play the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) in a DuKane challenge, on Saturday, January 7. Wheaton-Warrenville South will attempt to upgrade on its 4-13 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 10-6 record after their 44-40 non-league loss to New Trier (Winnetka, IL).
