Illinois High School Basketball - Lake Park nips Glenbard West
December 17, 2022: Roselle, IL 60172 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) and the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Lake Park's basketball squad hold off Glenbard West by a count of 50-44.
With the victory, Lake Park upgrades its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to play the North Stars in a DuKane challenge on Thursday, December 22. The North Stars come into the challenge with a record of 8-3. St. Charles North won 67-48 in their recent league challenge against St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Proviso East Pirates (Maywood, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 20. Glenbard West will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 64-28 non-league win over Christ the King (Chicago, IL).
