Idaho High School Basketball - Potlatch overwhelms St. Maries
January 4, 2023: St. Maries, ID 83861 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Potlatch Loggers (Potlatch, ID) and the host St. Maries Lumberjacks (St. Maries, ID), saw Potlatch's basketball squad wallop St. Maries by a tally of 50-23.
With the victory, Potlatch improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Loggers travel to Kamiah (Kamiah, ID) to confront the Kubs in a 1A I White Pine challenge on Friday, January 6. The Kubs come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Kamiah won 46-40 in their recent non-league challenge against Kendrick (Kendrick, ID)
Next up, the Lumberjacks confront the Orofino Maniacs (Orofino, ID) in a 2A Central Idaho challenge, on Friday, January 6. St. Maries will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Maniacs come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 60-50 non-league win over Genesee (Genesee, ID).
