In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Potomac School Panthers basketball team scored a tight 60-55 triumph over the St. Andrew's Episcopal Lions.

In their next game, the Panthers meet the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA match, on Friday, January 6. Potomac School will attempt to move on its 13-1 season record. The Frogs enter the match with a 9-2 record after their 53-46 league win over Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD).
