Louisiana High School Basketball - Acadiana nips Teurlings Catholic
January 4, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70501 Acadiana Rams (Lafayette, LA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), 64-58 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Acadiana upgrades its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 17-1. Lafayette Christian Academy won 60-53 in their recent non-league bout against Carencro (Lafayette, LA)
Next up, the Rebels play the St. Martinville Tigers (St. Martinville, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Teurlings Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 58-50 non-league loss to David Thibodaux (Lafayette, LA).
