February 9, 2024: Lafayette, LA 70501 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the David Thibodaux Bulldogs (Lafayette, LA) and the host Teurlings Catholic Rebels (Lafayette, LA), saw David Thibodaux's basketball squad hold off Teurlings Catholic by a tally of 39-35.
With the victory, David Thibodaux improves its record to 20-10 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to North Vermilion (Maurice, LA) to confront the Patriots in a 4A District 4 challenge on Monday, February 12. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 13-9. North Vermilion won 74-57 in their recent league challenge against Westgate (New Iberia, LA)
Next up, the Rebels confront the Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 12. Teurlings Catholic will attempt to improve on its 12-17 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 8-11 record after their 46-33 league loss to Welsh (Welsh, LA).
