Alabama High School Basketball - Albertville tops Pell City
January 4, 2024: Albertville, AL 35950 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Albertville Aggies (Albertville, AL) and the visiting Pell City Panthers (Pell City, AL), saw Albertville's basketball squad knock off Pell City by a tally of 61-48.
With the victory, Albertville improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Aggies travel to Etowah (Attalla, AL) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 11-5. Etowah won 66-58 in their recent league challenge against Oneonta (Oneonta, AL)
Next up, the Panthers play the Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) in a 6A Area 10 challenge, on Tuesday, January 9. Pell City will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Mounties come into the challenge with a 11-8 record after their 39-34 league win over Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL).
