Washington High School Basketball - Davenport overwhelms Upper Columbia Academy
January 4, 2024: Davenport, WA 99122 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) and the visiting Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), saw Davenport's basketball squad wallop Upper Columbia Academy by a tally of 42-20.
With the victory, Davenport improves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Gorillas travel to Liberty (Spangle, WA) to confront the Lancers in a 2B Bi-County challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Lancers come into the challenge with a record of 5-5. Liberty won 78-44 in their recent league challenge against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA)
Next up, the Lions confront the Colfax Bulldogs (Colfax, WA) in a 2B Bi-County challenge, on Monday, January 8. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 12-0 record after their 66-50 league win over St. George's (Spokane, WA).
