Michigan High School Basketball - Grosse Pointe South nips L'Anse Creuse North
January 4, 2024: Macomb, MI 48042 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Grosse Pointe South Blue Devils (Grosse Pointe, MI) and the host L'Anse Creuse North Crusaders (Macomb, MI), saw Grosse Pointe South's basketball squad hold off L'Anse Creuse North by a tally of 75-73.
With the victory, Grosse Pointe South improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Blue Devils travel to Dakota (Macomb, MI) to play the Cougars in a Macomb Area - Red challenge on Wednesday, January 10. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 6-5.
Next up, the Crusaders play the Hamtramck Cosmos (Hamtramck, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 7. L'Anse Creuse North will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Cosmos come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 56-50 non-league loss to Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI).
