Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds (Tecumseh, NE) and the visiting Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines (Wilber, NE), saw Johnson County Central's basketball squad overcome Wilber-Clatonia by a tally of 49-39.

With the victory, Johnson County Central improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE) to play the Irish in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Irish come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
