Indiana High School Basketball - Long Island Lutheran fells La Lumiere
January 4, 2024: La Porte, IN 46350 Long Island Lutheran Crusaders (Brookville, NY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host La Lumiere Lakers (La Porte, IN), 82-65 in a league bout.
With the win, Long Island Lutheran upgrades its record to 10-1 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Legacy Early College (Greenville, SC) to play the Lions in a Freelance bout on Friday, January 5. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Legacy Early College won 65-43 in their recent non-league bout against Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC)
Next up, the Lakers play the Wasatch Academy Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, UT) in a Freelance bout, on Saturday, January 6. La Lumiere will attempt to upgrade on its 9-2 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 90-77 non-league win over IMG Academy (Bradenton, FL).
