January 4, 2024: Newell, SD 57760 The Newell Irrigators basketball team (Newell, SD), was routed 58-19 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Sundance Bulldogs (Sundance, WY)
The Bulldogs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lingle-Fort Laramie for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Sundance will battle a Doggers team coming off a 64-50 non-league win over Encampment (Encampment, WY). The Doggers record now stands at 4-2.
The Irrigators (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Tiospaye Topa (Ridgeview, SD). The Thunderhawks come into the B Region 8 battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Tiospaye Topa was routed by Takini (Howes, SD), 73-57, in a league battle.
