California High School Basketball - South San Francisco tops Oceana
January 4, 2024: South San Francisco, CA 94080 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the South San Francisco Warriors (South San Francisco, CA) and the visiting Oceana Sharks (Pacifica, CA), saw South San Francisco's basketball squad knock off Oceana by a tally of 67-48.
With the victory, South San Francisco improves its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Warriors host Pacific Bay Christian (Pacifica, CA) to play the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 2-7. Pacific Bay Christian lost 77-29 in their recent league challenge against The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA)
Next up, the Sharks play the Burton Pumas (San Francisco, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Oceana will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Pumas come into the challenge with a 2-12 record after their 65-42 non-league loss to Hercules (Hercules, CA).
