The Starpoint Spartans (Lockport, NY) basketball felled the visiting West Seneca West Warhawks (West Seneca, NY), 60-40 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Spartans (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Sweet Home (Amherst, NY). The Panthers go into the Section 6 Erie County II test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Sweet Home was beaten by Williamsville East (East Amherst, NY), 68-44, in a league test.
