California High School Basketball - St. Anthony knocked off by Bishop Montgomery

January 4, 2024: Long Beach, CA 90802

The Bishop Montgomery Knights basketball team scored 89 points and held the host St. Anthony Saints to 73 in the Knights league triumph on Thursday.

The Knights now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Paul for a Del Rey contest on Tuesday, January 9. Bishop Montgomery will battle a Swordsmen team coming off a 58-39 non-league win over Walnut (Walnut, CA). The Swordsmen record now stands at 10-9.

The Saints (12-4) will now prepare for their contest against Santiago (Corona, CA). The Sharks enter the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Santiago ran past Oak Ridge (El Dorado Hills, CA), 58-45, in a non-league contest.
