January 4, 2024: Blevins, AR 71825 Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR) and the visiting Lafayette County Cougars (Stamps, AR), saw Blevins's basketball squad overcome Lafayette County by a tally of 68-56.
With the victory, Blevins improves its record to 11-13 on the campaign. The Hornets host Bradley (Bradley, AR) to confront the Bears in a 1A Region 7 challenge on Tuesday, January 9. The Bears come into the challenge with a record of 15-4. Bradley lost 48-45 in their recent league challenge against Kirby (Kirby, AR)
Next up, the Cougars confront the Gurdon Go-Devils (Gurdon, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Lafayette County will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Go-Devils come into the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 63-54 non-league loss to Emerson (Emerson, AR).
