The Central Valley Academy Thunder (Ilion, NY) basketball nipped the visiting Holland Patent Golden Knights (Holland Patent, NY), 52-45 in Thursday's league test.

The Thunder (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Rome Free Academy (Rome, NY). The Black Knights go into the Section 3 Tri-Valley test with a 6-4 record.
