Virginia High School Basketball - Greater Cabarrus Stallions overwhelmed by State Line HomeSchool Rush

January 4, 2024: Galax, VA

The Greater Cabarrus Stallions Stallions basketball team (Concord, NC), was overwhelmed 61-19 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host State Line HomeSchool Rush Rush (Galax, VA)

The Rush now possess a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central Virginia HomeSchool Athletic Association for a VHSAA battle on Saturday, January 6. State Line HomeSchool Rush will battle a Patriots team coming off a 59-27 non-league loss to L.C. Bird (Chesterfield, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 9-8.

The Stallions (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC). The Lions come into the non-league battle with a 4-10 record. In their last battle, Langtree Charter was overwhelmed by Statesville (Statesville, NC), 38-22, in a non-league battle.
