The Hornets now possess a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host DeWitt for a 3A Region 8 battle on Friday, January 5. Harmony Grove will confront a Dragons team coming off a 70-30 league loss to McGehee (McGehee, AR). The Dragons record now stands at 7-8.
The Hermits (4-10) will now prepare for their battle against Strong (Strong, AR). The Bulldogs come into the 1A Region 8 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Strong was nudged by Parkers Chapel (El Dorado, AR), 64-28, in a non-league battle.
