In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings basketball team scored a decisive 63-41 triumph over the Phoenix Academy Firebirds.

In their next game, the Vikings meet the Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC) in a non-league match, on Friday, January 5. Northwest Guilford will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record.
