January 4, 2024: Newport, NC 28570 The Pamlico Christian Academy Mariners (Grantsboro, NC) basketball nipped the host Gramercy Christian Warriors (Newport, NC), 41-37 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Mariners (5-5) will now prepare for their test against Mount Calvary Christian Academy (Hookerton, NC). The Warriors go into the test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Mount Calvary Christian Academy was tipped by Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC), 47-21, in a non-league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Wilmington Christian Academy for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Gramercy Christian will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 35-33 non-league loss to Southeastern HomeSchool (Wilmington, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 2-2.
