January 4, 2025: Trinity, AL 35673 The Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) basketball crushed the host East Lawrence Eagles (Trinity, AL), 71-47 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Indians now possess a 12-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hackleburg for a non-league bout on Monday, January 6.
With the loss, East Lawrence falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Danville (Danville, AL) to play the Hawks in a 4A Area 13 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Danville won 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Hatton (Town Creek, AL)
