Ohio High School Basketball - Elida can't hold off Coldwater
January 4, 2025: Elida, OH 45807 Coldwater Cavaliers (Coldwater, OH) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Elida Bulldogs (Elida, OH), 62-55 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Coldwater advances its record to 3-3 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH) to face the Rangers in a Midwest match on Tuesday, January 7. The Rangers enter the match with a record of 4-5. New Knoxville won 57-39 in their recent non-league match against Houston (Houston, OH)
The Bulldogs now own a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ottawa-Glandorf for a Western Buckeye match on Friday, January 10. Elida will face a Titans squad coming off a 55-43 non-league win over Triway (Wooster, OH). The Titans record now stands at 2-7.
