The Faith Christian Lions basketball team scored 87 points and limited the visiting Gaylesville Trojans to 42 in the Lions league triumph on Saturday.

The Lions now have a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Ragland for a non-league game on Thursday, January 9. Faith Christian will confront a Purple Devils team coming off a 89-26 non-league loss to Appalachian (Oneonta, AL). The Purple Devils record now stands at 0-16.

With the loss, Gaylesville falls to 1-15 on the campaign. The Trojans host Spring Garden (Spring Garden, AL) to confront the Panthers in a 1A Area 12 game on Monday, January 6.
