In Saturday's non-league test, the Parkview Baptist Eagles (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball squad trounced the host French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA), by a score of 60-35.

Next, the Eagles clash with the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 8. Parkview Baptist will attempt to improve on its 13-5 season record. The Wolverines come into the test with a 11-9 record after their 68-51 non-league loss to Vandebilt Catholic (Houma, LA).

The Lions (17-10) will now prepare for their test against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators come into the non-league test with a 15-16 record.
