In Friday's non-league test, the French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) basketball squad knocked off the visiting White Castle Bulldogs (White Castle, LA), by a score of 59-44.

Next, the Lions encounter the Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA) in a non-league test, on Monday, December 23. French Settlement will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Bruins come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 90-31 non-league win over Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA).
