Washington High School Basketball - Walla Walla thwarts Kennewick
January 4, 2025: Walla Walla, WA 99362 The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Walla Walla Blue Devils (Walla Walla, WA) and the visiting Kennewick Lions (Kennewick, WA), observed Walla Walla's basketball team knock off Kennewick by a score of 72-60.
The Blue Devils (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Southridge (Kennewick, WA). The Suns come into the 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge with a 3-7 record. In their last challenge, Southridge prevailed over Hanford (Richland, WA), 71-64, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions encounter the Hermiston Bulldogs (Hermiston, WA) in a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Kennewick will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 6-4 record after their 63-50 league loss to Kamiakin (Kennewick, WA).
