January 4, 2025: Sulligent, AL 35586 The Sulligent Blue Devils basketball team scored 73 points and limited the visiting Lexington Golden Bears to 62 in the Blue Devils non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now have a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Hamilton for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. Sulligent will confront a Aggies team coming off a 51-47 non-league loss to Marion County (Guin, AL). The Aggies record now stands at 4-11.
With the loss, Lexington falls to 6-8 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Tanner (Tanner, AL) to face the Rattlers in a 2A Area 15 match on Tuesday, January 7. The Rattlers enter the match with a record of 8-8. Tanner lost 91-54 in their recent non-league match against East Limestone (Athens, AL)
