Tennessee High School Basketball - McCallie overwhelms Signal Mountain
January 4, 2025: Signal Mountain, TN 37377 The McCallie Blue Tornado basketball team scored 83 points and limited the host Signal Mountain Eagles to 35 in the Blue Tornado non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Blue Tornado now possess a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to McMinn County for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 7. McCallie will play a Cherokees team coming off a 64-59 non-league loss to Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN). The Cherokees record now stands at 8-8.
With the loss, Signal Mountain falls to 7-8 on the campaign. The Eagles host Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN) to play the Trojans in a 3A District 6 game on Friday, January 10. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 6-3.
