The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Red Bank Lions (Chattanooga, TN) and the visiting Signal Mountain Eagles (Signal Mountain, TN), observed Red Bank's basketball team overcome Signal Mountain by a score of 79-65.

The Lions (16-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Brainerd (Chattanooga, TN). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 7-7 record. In their last challenge, Brainerd defeated Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN), 69-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the East Ridge Pioneers (Chattanooga, TN) in a 3A District 6 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Signal Mountain will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 56-52 league win over Chattanooga Central (Harrison, TN).
