In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Cactus Shadows Falcons basketball team scored a good 67-52 triumph over the Combs Coyotes.

The Falcons (9-6) will now prepare for their contest against Desert Sunrise (Maricopa, AZ). The Golden Hawks go into the non-league contest with a 6-7 record.

In their next game, the Coyotes confront the Poston Butte Broncos (San Tan Valley, AZ) in a 4A East Sky contest, on Thursday, January 9. Combs will attempt to advance on its 7-4 season record.
