Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Rolling Meadows Mustangs (Rolling Meadows, IL), 41-39 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Cary-Grove advances its record to 10-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to face the Tigers in a Fox Valley match on Tuesday, January 7. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 7-5. Crystal Lake Central lost 42-28 in their recent non-league match against Glenbrook North (Northbrook, IL)

The Mustangs now own a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Buffalo Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East match on Tuesday, January 7. Rolling Meadows will face a Bison squad coming off a 58-39 non-league win over Deerfield (Deerfield, IL). The Bison record now stands at 7-9.
