New Jersey High School Basketball - Kennedy overwhelms Hackensack
January 4, 2025: Paterson, NJ 07522 The Kennedy Knights basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Hackensack Comets to 29 in the Knights non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Knights now possess a 4-3 record. They play next when they travel to West Orange for a non-league game on Sunday, January 5. Kennedy will play a Mountaineers team coming off a 53-43 non-league loss to Morris Catholic (Denville, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 5-1.
With the loss, Hackensack falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Comets host Union City (Union City, NJ) to play the Soaring Eagles in a non-league game on Sunday, January 5. The Soaring Eagles go into the game with a record of 5-2. Union City won 35-31 in their recent non-league game against Morristown (Morristown, NJ)
