January 4, 2025: Raton, NM 87740 In Saturday's non-league test, the Maxwell Bears (Maxwell, NM) basketball squad knocked off the host Raton Tigers (Raton, NM), by a score of 55-35.
Next, the Bears clash with the New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners (Santa Fe, NM) in a A District 5 test, on Tuesday, January 7. Maxwell will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Roadrunners come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 60-9 league loss to Springer (Springer, NM).
The Tigers (2-8) will now prepare for their test against Des Moines (Des Moines, NM). The Demons come into the non-league test with a 5-3 record.
