January 4, 2025: San Jose, CA 95127 The Leland Chargers (San Jose, CA) basketball crushed the host Mt. Pleasant Cardinals (San Jose, CA), 61-21 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Gilroy for a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. Leland will play a Mustangs team coming off a 56-30 non-league loss to St. Francis (Watsonville, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-8.
With the loss, Mt. Pleasant falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Ann Sobrato (Morgan Hill, CA) to play the Bulldogs in a bout on Wednesday, January 15. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 8-6. Ann Sobrato won 46-39 in their recent non-league bout against Independence (San Jose, CA)
