Arizona High School Soccer - Shadow Mountain knocks off Scottsdale Christian Academy
January 4, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85028 The Shadow Mountain Matadors soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles to 1 in the Matadors non-league victory on Saturday.
The Matadors now hold a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Coconino for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 8. Shadow Mountain will play a Panthers squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Youngker (Buckeye, AZ). The Panthers record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Scottsdale Christian Academy moves to 3-5 on the year. The Eagles travel to Anthem Prep (Anthem, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Anthem Prep lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against St. John Paul II Catholic (Avondale, AZ)
