The Cypress Ranch Mustangs basketball team scored 75 points and held the host Cypress Woods Wildcats to 53 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now sport a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Langham Creek for a 6A Region II District 16 contest on Saturday, January 8. Cypress Ranch will battle a Lobos team coming off a 39-33 league loss to Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX). The Lobos record now stands at 10-11.

The Wildcats (7-14) will now prepare for their contest against Cypress Park (Cypress, TX). The Tigers enter the 6A Region II District 16 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Cypress Park was routed by Bridgeland (Cypress, TX), 55-53, in a league contest.
