The Cupertino Pioneers basketball team (Cupertino, CA), was overwhelmed 65-28 in Wednesday's league battle with the visiting Gunn Titans (Palo Alto, CA)

The Titans now possess a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mountain View for a Santa Clara Valley - El Camino battle on Friday, January 7. Gunn will battle a Spartans team coming off a 35-34 league win over Milpitas (Milpitas, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
