The Telstar Rebels basketball team (Bethel, ME), was overwhelmed 79-18 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Spruce Mountain Phoenix (Jay, ME)

The Phoenix now possess a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hall-Dale for a non-league battle on Friday, January 7. Spruce Mountain will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 95-20 league win over Mount Abram (Strong, ME). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-0.

The Rebels (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME). The Raiders come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Oak Hill trounced Boothbay (Boothbay Harbor, ME), 59-36, in a non-league battle.
