Spanaway Lake Sentinels (Spanaway, WA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), 71-64 in a league bout.

With the win, Spanaway Lake upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Sentinels travel to Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Friday, January 7. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 9-13.

Next up, the T-Birds play the Lincoln Abes (Tacoma, WA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 8. Mount Tahoma will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record.
