The Berean Baptist Academy Bulldogs basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Christ the Cornerstone Academy Defenders to 46 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 4-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Village Christian Academy for a NCISAA Sandhills contest on Friday, January 6. Berean Baptist Academy will battle a Knights team coming off a 82-40 non-league loss to Fayetteville Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 2-9.

The Defenders (9-3) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC). The Cougars enter the Carolinas Christian contest with a 6-4 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian Academy was defeated by New Life Christian Academy (Rocky Mount, NC), 98-42, in a non-league contest.
